Position Summary:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering wind turbine kits to the customers.

Position Summary:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering wind turbine kits to the customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet with manager or supervisor daily to obtain schedule
- Inspect vehicle and trailer daily before use and report any needed repairs to manager or supervisor (twenty-one-point inspection PNS-F-0026 Vehicle PM and Fuel log)
- Inspect all load straps before use and report any damage or wear to manager or supervisor
- Acquire Jupiter Bach shipping documents for products to be delivered from manager or supervisor
- Acquire DOT permits from manager or supervisor for any oversized load
- Verify accuracy of DOT permits (size, route, etc.)
- Move product to be shipped to loading station
- Clean product using designated cleaning supplies and pressure washer
- Load product to delivery trailer
- Nacelle Loading and Delivery
- XLE Spinner Loading and Delivery
- Perform visual inspection of products released for delivery to check for damage and report any damage to manager or supervisor
- Inspect before loading
- Inspect after loading
- Inspect upon arrival to customer’s site
- Inspect after unloading at customer site
- Have delivery paperwork signed by customer
- Retrieve any available shipping fixtures from customer site (carts, spinner racks, etc.)
- Unload empty shipping fixtures at designated location at Jupiter Bach
- Inspect all shipping fixtures for damage before releasing to production and notify manager or supervisor of any damaged identified
- Return signed paperwork to manager or supervisor
- Secure vehicle and delivery trailer at the end of shift and return keys to designated location
- Drivers are not allowed to take vehicle keys home
- Clean delivery vehicle at minimum once per week
- Adheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver license
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety Requirements
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift
- Much be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shift
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift
- Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
