Job Purpose
Provide guidance and support to subordinate team members to meet production schedules.

Duties
  • Model Jupiter Bach’s hierarchy of operation SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  • Promotes safe practices and habits and assures that all team members are safe.
  • Participates in and supports investigations related to Quality Conditions.
  • Teaches, coaches and trains new employees and promotes development of cross-training matrix.
  • Meet with Manager and/or supervisor daily for schedule and updates.
  • Ensure that the team is operating under current work instruction guidelines.
  • Communicate any HR issues to Manager immediately.
  • Provide accurate hands-on-training to team members as needed.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and turn in daily as required by Manager or supervisor.
  • Team leader is responsible for maintaining and securing tools daily.
  • Perform audits accurately and on time as scheduled.
  • Responsible for team’s adherence to company policies and must report violations to Manager or supervisor immediately.
  • Team leader is responsible for maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness of production area daily.
  • Inventory of production items as required by Manager.
  • Responsibility to monitor and set the expectation regarding shift end times – dependent on the day’s activities, and ability to meet the production schedule. Current availability needed from 6am to 430pm, Monday through Thursday, and until 11 Friday.  

Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience with required tools for the production process is required.
  • Experience as a quality technician in a composites environment or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership proficiency/competence.
  • Proficiency with measurement instrumentation (calipers, gloss meters, lasers).
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, coach and train others on the job.
  • Demonstrated track record of cross training, competency with different processes/functions.
  • Proven dependability, performance, and attendance is required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and convey work instructions to team members.
  • Must be willing to be utilized in other departments and production roles as necessary.
  • Forklift Certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday 6am-430pm
